Baptism

Baptism is open to all ages and we welcome enquiries at any time.

The baptism ceremony is celebrated to welcome people, both children and adults, into the church family.

As an adult, you will make certain promises and commitments to live according to God's teaching. At the baptism of young children, the parents and godparents will make the promises on their behalf.

Before anything else, we invite you and your family to join us at one or two of our services to find out a bit about us and what it feels like to part of the church family. There is always someone to welcome you at the church door and show you where to sit.

For information about preparing for your baptism and the service itself, please have a look at our guide How not to be submerged by your Baptism.
